Rawr Be to Thee

Hey peeps. I promised my friend Ronda that I would make a post for her...and that's what this is.  I love you Ronda!  No one could ever sever our friendship, and no distance could keep us apart. We have been friends since I was seven...which is about eight, almost nine years...if a friendship can last that long...well, I betcha it could last even longer.
The same goes for my other friend, Kayden, and my other friend Karen, although I haven't known you guys as long as I have known Ronda, our bonds are strong, and I love you both, and you both make me laugh, and brighten my day, and keep me gong.  Without you three awesome people, I have no idea where I would be in this life.  A lot more depressed I can tell you.
Aside from my thingy to friends...I moved.  I am no longer a Kansan, but an Okie....
Today I went rollerblading across town.  All the way across.  Pretty fun, I feel invigorated.  I was pleased to discover that the roads here are good for rollerblading.  When you get on the other side of town, it gets a little rougher riding though.  I also found a hill that is fun to go down.  Less fun going  up, but fun going down.
I know that this is random..but my eye itches.
Anyway, I'm gonna run off...
~Katie :)
P.S. it might interest my readers to know that I am on the a and b honor roll in school ;)
I also thought you might want to know that I'm gonna be checking the comments, because of a spammer.

A Rather Interesting Day for Katie

Well...is anyone interested in knowing what I did today?  I cut my foot!  With a knife!!!  On accident!!!!!!  I even got pictures taken ^_^
Meet my foot!!!
I was outside, at my aunt's house, playing catch with my cousin, when I suddenly realized that the knife I'd brought with me was missing.... Now at this point, you have to have some vital information to understand why this is the most horrible thing ever.  It's horrible, because my knife was in a sheath, and my knife is not a folding knife.  It's more like a small dagger.  Well, I'm searching for my knife...and not finding it...so I go inside to alert my mom of this atrocity, then go back outside.  On the way back in...I don't really remember what I was doing, but I was walking back toward the house, when I tripped over something.  At first I thought that it was a stick, but I looked, and it was my knife, and my foot (which was bare, because it's nice enough out to go barefoot, and I don't like shoes) was bleeding.  So I sat down, and held my foot together, and sent my cousin into the house to get my mom, and now I'm sitting here with my foot propped up, feeling better, but I am pretty hungry right now.  And I really want to curl up with my foot under me right now.  It stinks.  I'm also on my aunt's computer because Keith (my computer) is still dead, and we haven't gotten a Keith the 3rd yet.  Depressing, I know.
My leg feels somewhat funny too now though.  I also don't want to get stitches.  I'm quite alright with no stitches!!!  We've got it butterflied, and if we really need to, we can use superglue.  And yes, on the picture of my foot, that is blood down near the bottom.
It's my left foot, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to wear closed toed shoes to school Monday.  Unclosed toe shoes is a big no-no at my school.  Honestly, half the rules there don't make sense.  Like you have to have long sleeves,--past the elbow--highschool girls can't wear their hair down, no hats in the building, no hoods, no sunglasses--although I don't understand why someone would want to wear sunglasses inside....  Yeah, a lot of strange rules, that escape my understanding.
So...how many of you like pictures of sunsets?

Well, you get one whether you like them or not!!!
Anyway, I'm gonna go now.
See y'all later!!!

Mother's Day

As I don't know if I'll be able to get on a computer on or before Mother's Day, I'm gonna be making an...ode if you will to my mother.
She's amazing, and sweet, and beautiful, and gives into Katie pressure way too easily (sometimes) but is totally awesome.  She's an awesome cook, an amazing seamstress, and has taught me (sorta) how to sew like her.  She can crochet just about anything, and even if she doesn't have the most amazing relationship advice, she's always got a hug.
I really love my mom.
Mom, if you're reading this today...
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!

Picture Me This, Picture me That, Picture Me Dipptidy DEE!!!

Well, I'm gonna do some pictures today...hence the strange post title....  Anyway...let's start with my outfit today.  I know I haven't done that many pictures lately, because of the crashed computer, but today...yeah....
I present to you...my outfit!
Full view of the outfit in all it's interesting glory.
The "skirt" is actually a sleeveless open back dress, that I would feel horribly insecure in if I didn't wear something over/under it.  I got it at the local thrift store.  As for the shirt that's been worn over it, I got that for free at my school.  The socks I got at WalMart, and yes, I am quite aware that they don't match.  You may be interested in knowing that I also don't care that they don't match.  The headband I made.  I made it out of ducttape and two hair band thingys.

Just another picture of the outfit.  It may interest you to know that I bought the dress because it was all hypnotical and stuff.  CRAZY!  Psychedelic and stuff.  I love it.

I moved outside.  And no, I'm not wearing shoes.  I'm at my grandparents, and I rollerbladed over there, and didn't take shoes.

You can't tell me what to do.  I will just look off to the side, and ignore you.

And that's my outfit.  I mentioned my field trip, did I not?  Well, it may interest you to know that my friend Gavyn and I fight like cats and dogs...so this picture was the perfect description of our "relationship."
Now don't we look like best friends?
Me standing underneath an elephant head on our field trip.

This statue thingy just enchanted me...so I took a picture of it.

I'm sitting in a chair...kinda sprawled out.

The inside of an oil drillers kitchen...I think....  The pies aren't real though, so I don't get to eat them :'(

I mostly took this picture for the horses.  I'm bigger on swords and horses than guns.

This picture was definitely intended for the horse, 'cause there's nothing else in the picture xD

AIRPLANE!!!  Yeah...I'm done with the field trip pictures now.
Actually...I think I'm just plain old done for now.  I guess I'll talk to my awesome readers next time I talk to them...wow that sounded super stupid.
Oh and check out the blogs on the side of my posts and stuff...I'm loving Fresh Modesty.

For Lack of a Better Phrase: "I DO NOT LIKE SCIENCE PROJECTS!"

Have you ever felt alone?  Discouraged?  Sad?  Like shooting all science projects?  Well...I know that feeling.  I do not like my science project.  It's mean to me, and the computer won't print the stuff I need printed.  Even more reason to say my science project is mean to me.  Super duper mean.  It hates the ground I walk upon, and my guts.  Well, that's what it feels like anyway.  And while you may say that if I would just quit blogging, and get to work, I must reply, "I would have nothing to do if I quit blogging, because if I quit blogging I would be sititing here in frustration--more than what I already am-- awaiting the moment when my grandpa will be done assisting my mother in her project--not science--and find it in his heart to assist me."  Do you see my reason for blogging?
Yes you do.  Good
So.  I had my first field trip of the year this past Friday.  Pretty awesome, and me, AND my classmates, AND our teacher survived.  It seriously surprised me.  Especially the fact that my classmates didn't have a stinky farting contest, or attempt to play freeze out, or take my food--they probably knew I would bite them--or take my phone--which is actually my mom's--or be so extremely rowdy.  They were still rowdy, and it was super loud on the way there, and the way back, but it wasn't too bad.  I see myself both longing to go on another field trip with them, yet being glad that there won't be another field trip until probably next year.  Good yes?
I seriously just wish my printer would print!
Okay, back to the field trip.  It was to Wolaroc, the trader's encampment, and there were knives, and hatchets, and ooooooooh....I loved it.  I got a knife, and it's awesome.  I'll have to get pictures, but I make absolutely no promises.  I have learned that it's better to just not promise than it is to make a promise you aren't sure you can keep.  Bro. Todd said that they would leave me with the mountain men, and when we were done there, I probably would have taken him up on his offer if my mom would have been there too.  A my bunny.  And my kitties.
Speaking of kitties, my kitty Ducky had her babies!  I have grandchildren!  (probably the only ones that I will ever have as I have decided to become a protestant nun.  I know I've said that many times, and I will probably say it many times more, and all that, but seriously.  One of these days I will actually follow through. I mean, it's not like I have to live a life of solitude.  I just have to not get married.
If any of you guys are praying people, and if any of you think about it, could you find it in your hearts to pray for me and my friend.  We're having trouble in geography....
BOOM!!!  Big clap of thunder.
If I place with my science project, I think I'm gonna laugh.  Do you know how hard I've worked on it?  Not very hard.  Just as hard as I have to.  I don't like science projects!  I just don't!  They annoy me so much!  GAH!
My back is itchy.  Are your guys' backs itchy?
Okay, never mind.  Time for me to go yell at the stupid printer!!!

Didja Miss Me?

Well, didja miss me?  I know, I've been gone for a long time!  I'm probably gonna disappear again later on.
So, I guess it's time for me to catch y'all up on my life, huh?
School News!!!
So, in English we've been working on these persuasive papers...I don't like them...to convince people (by using facts) what swallowed Jonah.  I do not like it.  It is annoying.  It is time consuming.  It's slightly confusing.  I doth not like it a bit.  Grr.  Yes, I did say grr.  Deal with it.
In Science, we've mostly been working out of our books, and planning for the science fair, (Which I am not thrilled about) with a ton of crazy hecticness from my classmates.
History--We've been working out of our books, which we've almost finished!  Woo Hoo!!!  Soon there will be no more History.  Of course after that we'll have to pick a country, and make a...paper?  Or maybe a power point, I'm not sure which, about it.  I've chosen to do Lesotho.  I don't know why, but I've always had an inkling toward that country.  It's a little country in the middle of South Africa.  I like it, but I don't know how.  We're also working on maps, ya know, putting the names and capitals on a blank map.  We're doing a world map!  I both like, and dislike maps.  It's confusing, I know.
Bible--Well...biblical stuff....
Journalism--I'm almost done with all my pages!  I just have to super scold Joe.  CRUD!  Crud a thousand times over!!!  I forgot to get Joe's number!  CRUD!  One moment while I quit crudding and see if Darrell is on to get Joe's number from.  No Darrell, but there's Bethany...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.  Shoot me, kay?  YES I GOT HIS NUMBER!!!  (I need to get certain pics of/from him for Journalism)
Choir--We're practicing for the Spring/Easter Program with the Speech and Drama people, and I have a solo/duet in the play thingy!  WOO HOO!  Awesome fun, no?
All that awesome stuffehz....
It was recently my principal's birthday, so for Chapel/Assembly we threw him a surprise birthday, and there was cake!!!  I love cake!  So, anyway, I'm gonna tell a story I find awesome, and funny, so if any of the school board is reading this, don't go complaining to Bro. Brewer, because of what the only Freshman girl said about her classmates, okay?  I find it funny, so my classmates do not need to get into trouble.  *bangs head* people often want to go saying things that don't even involve them.  So...um...anyway, I had my cake, and my classmates Corgan, and Travis had their own cake, and I sat down, because it's hard to eat cake while standing.
Travis sat in the closest available seat, which happened to be next to me, and began to eat his cake.  Corgan stood behind us, and began to eat his cake.  (All the cake was very yummy by the way, if you care to know little things like that)  Everything was fine for a little while, then from behind comes this fork, and sinks itself into Travis' cake.  NOT Travis' fork either!  So he fends off Corgan, while the whole time Corgan is saying to make sure no one got cake crumbs or punch on his suit.  Seriously?  Finally, Travis gets tired of all this attempted cake theft, and moved way over by the wall.  I was close to the center.  Corgan decides to sit down in the closest available seat, which happened to be next to me.  All was well and good for well...about two minutes, then a fork darts out!  NOT MY FORK!  And it lodged itself IN MY CAKE!  So...I elbowed Corgan and somehow some punch (whether mine or his, I don't know) spilled...and got on his suit...and my skirt.  He threw a bit of a fit (and I didn't see him again till our next class) but I was chill.
Also...NEVER read Song of Solomon in my class.  I don't care if you are an awesome senior.  Just don't read it aloud.  My classmates are pervs....
I think that's all my school news :p
Me News!!!
In a way I guess all my news is "me news," but...well it's still different.  My church has been having revival...well, not now, but it was the past week.  Bro. Elmore was the speaker, and man, I think he's my favorite speaker, because he's got this awesome animated, crazy insane awesome way of preaching.  He can tell stories and stuff, but he always keeps it biblical, and he pretty much always gets his point across.  Plus his family are awesome singers.  It's like bluegrass I think.  I like that style.  Well, actually, I like every style...but...yeah.  Well...I don't like rap.
I've been doing a bit of sewing!  I don't have pictures *sad face* but I took some shirts (long sleeved button up) and cut part of the bottom off, and part of the sleeves, then I took some extra cloth, and made a flowy bottom on it, and long flowy sleeves.  I love it.  Well, them, I made two.  And a matching skirt for one of them!  I have a belt that goes awesome with the style that I've got, so I wear it.  It's a wide belt, with a cowboy like buckle.  I like it.  I already said that didn't I?
Anyway...I guess I had more school news than me news...so I suppose I'll draw this to a close.

Grrrrrrr....

Anyone want to guess what's happened within the past week?  Ding ding ding!  Yup...my computer crashed.  It's a bit depressing.  Now I have to get on on a library computer, or my grandparent's computer.  I don't like either options.  Meh.
But anyway other than that I've been having a good time.  I'm on spring break, which is one of my most favorite things ever!  I've mostly been doing it writing books, and watching movies.  Pretty much it.
Have I mentioned my latest book?  The name...well...the name isn't completely decided yet, but it's about a girl who goes back to her old hometown, and discovers that it's been destroyed.  There's one survivor, and he says that it was destroyed by a dragon.  She thinks he's insane!
Yeah...I've been needing a lot of research.  However, my computer has crashed, so whenever I have questions regarding dragons, I call my friend Kayden.  Whenever I need help regarding medical things, I call my grandmother...if she doesn't know I contact the local clinic...hey, an author's gotta do what an author's gotta do.  I contact my aunt if I need help with mental issues, and my uncle if I need help knowing what kind of alcoholic beverage a mad professor would drink.
Also, do you guys think that Bernard Peasbody is a good mad professor name?
Anyway, checking out, because I need to be working on my book...not blogging.

Sicknesses :/

Yup, you got it.  I'm sick....  Sicker than a hound dog.  That saying makes positively no sense, so I have no idea why it's said.  So yeah, I'm sick.  I know just how I got this sick too.
I went rollerblading in too cold of weather, with too few layers, got sick, then I was getting better when my principal decided one very cold day that he was going to have a firedrill!  Gotta love principals!  Especially since we can't get jackets or anything.  Then on Saturday I hung out with a friend (which wasn't the bad part) but we also played outside, ran around, and went to a place with lots of other people, and yesterday I had a headache, couldn't talk, and could barely think, so I slept, and slept and slept, and I felt really bad too, because my mommy was dressed all pretty for church, but she stayed home with me, 'cause I was too sick to go to church, and today I am still too sick to go to school.
So, I'm lounging around in my horridly pink PJ's, blowing my nose, drinking liquid, eating unleavened stuff, (aka flour tortillas) eating vitamin C like candy, and watching movies, feeling horrible, because I'm going to have to make up work, and wondering if anyone at school misses me.
It's really not as fun as it sounds.  Especially when you're blowing your nose every five minutes or so.
I really wish I could get back to sleep.  But I can't.  I tried when I first woke up too, but my brain was already functioning.
On the bright side however, my headache is less horrible than it was yesterday, my throat is MUCH less sore, and I feel less like a zombie.  You know, I'm actually almost well enough to go out into public.  Which I might do later on.
I'm probably going to go to school tomorrow.  I'll get to see my friend who abandoned me last week to go to Florida.  I miss her.
Well...I should actually probably go.

My Life

Hey...you wanna know what my life is about?  Well, it's about many things.  It's about struggling to survive, in a world where everyone wants to push me down.  It's about writing my feelings, my hopes, and joys.  It's about dreaming, and daring, and diving into the unknown.  It's about blogging to people who I hope read my blog, and get something out of it, other than just my crazy, hyper thoughts.  It's about having fun with my family and friends, and loving them.  It's about doing well in school, and watching as many movies as I can watch and reading as many books as I can read.  It's about writing books, poems, songs, and whatever else there is to write.  It's about competing to be in the top three with writing, and so many other things.  It's about feeling for the underdog, and figuring out who's actually worth my time.  It's about realizing how other people feel, and trying to treat them the way I would want them to treat me if  I was in their position.  It's about making sure everyone knows I'm crazy and hyper.
But right now, my main focus is writing.  Mostly because I'm writing right now.  I'm writing on my blog, and I have Open Office popped up to write a book.
I have the most awesome idea for a book.  But I doubt I should put it up on such a public place.  I don't want anyone to steal it.
I'm also watching a movie.  Sadly it's not a Barbie movie, because my Barbie movie won't play.
I like Barbie movies, but I'm not too fond of the super skinny, big boobed, blonde haired, blue eyed, multitalented doll that young children play with.
Anyway, I really want to write in my book, so I'm off like a banana peal.

Movie Making!

Okay, so who all has read The Unnamed Legend?
If you haven't, here are the appropriate links for you to click to buy a copy to read.  Please do that before continuing with this post.  Unless of course you've already watched it.
Create Space Store
Only $8.50!!!
Amazon Store
Also only $8.50 just from a different place.
Kindle Store
Only $1.00 for a kindle edition!
Buy it, read it tell all your friends!
Once you have bought and read The Unnamed Legend, please proceed.
I am assuming that whoever is now reading this has either ignored me, or has done as I commanded.
So, as you read in the title of this post...I said something about movie making...now the question is...am I running my fingers again, or am I really movie making?
The answer is...I hope so!
I have gotten it in my head to make The Unnamed Legend into a movie!  I already have actors and actresses to play the following roles: King Stephan, Queen Genevieve, Dawn, Amanda, and Arik.  And I have someone who said he could probably make computer generated lava beasts, and gobarts!
I still however need several horses, people to dress up as knights, a Shetland Pony, and a bunch more actors and actresses.
My mom said she could do some of the costumes, but you know, you can always use more people to make costumes....
I also need a better camera, and a camera man, although I know that a few of the actors and actresses could run the camera when they're not there.
I need a bunch more equipment, and knowledge and stuff...but I can do it!  (I think)
I need locations...a castle...well, three actually, with one of the three crumbling, chickens, cows, a free empty meadow to run around in, food for the cast, and money to buy all this stuff, DVDs to burn the movie on, and people to tell me how to make a movie...because I honestly don't know how.  Aren't I awesome?!
No not really, I know, I'm just crazy, and have dreams and hopes that will most likely be dashed upon the rocks like they often are :/
Oh, and I have some news about my flash drive!  I might actually be able to get the data off of it at least.  My English teacher said that one of my classmates might be able to get the stuff off.  Now if I could only get up the guts to ask him.  It's strange that I should have to get up guts, because I'm not really this shy person.  I guess I'm just scared he won't be able to get it off.  And that would make me cry or something.
Anyway...I really gotta go to bed, because it's 11:35, which is closer to midnight than 10:35.
So...goodnight.

MAJOR PRAYER REQUEST!!!

My flash drive is NOT connecting to any computer, so please please please pray that either we can get it fixed, or get the files off of it.
The stuff on the flash drive is basically my life.  Every picture I've taken, and almost every story I've ever written is on it.
Thanks guys.

Science Projects

One thing I dislike, is a science project, when it's done by me.  When the project is done by someone else, then, it's more okay, but when it's done by me...well...I just don't like them much.  I'm not a scientific person.  I'm the girl who had a 5 minute rant to/with her mom about Fantasy, and reality, which if I'm asked I suppose I could post on here.
But anyway...I'm doing a science project on the best cleaner for whiteboards, using little bitty whiteboards and stuff.  I don't really like it much.  Meh.
I thought of this really awesome scenario for a book.  I just have to get my copywrite symbol so you know it's MINE ALL MINE AND YOU MAY NEVER USE IT!!!  MWHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA*cough cough*  Anyway...um...yeah.
Missy had a person in her school, who always sat at her lunch table, and told really perverted jokes.  The worst part about this was that this was a Christian school.  One day she had had enough.
The rest is told in Missy's point of view.
"Hey...um...Carlos...would you mind stopping with the perverted jokes?"  I asked.
He looked at her kind of funny, and said, "But they're funny.  I mean, did I tell you about the time when my girlfriend looked at me, and said, 'Carlos...you're a liar, a jerk, and a sick minded pedophile.'  I looked her in the eye, and said, 'Why, Sally, those are mighty big words for a three year old!'"
I had had enough, so I punched him in the shoulder.  Kind of hard actually.  The look of shock on his face was hilarious.  But what wasn't hilarious was the fact that my principal had turned around just in time to see me punch him.
He marched over to my small table, and looked me straight in the eye.  "Is there a reason you just punched Carlos?"
"Yes, sir.  He keeps cracking perverted jokes, day in and day out, and I have had enough of it.  So I asked him kindly to stop, he didn't, so I punched him."
My principal's eyebrows shot up.  "Oh really?"
"Yes really."
"And what do you think Jesus would have done?"
I thought about it for about five seconds, before looking him straight in the eye, and saying, "I think he would have asked politely, and when the perverted jokes kept being thrown around, he would have turned Carlos over his knee, and given him a spanking."
"And is there a reason you think that?"
"Yes, yes there is.  My reasoning is that God disciplines his children, and it's typically painful."
My principal raised one eyebrow. "But, violence is not the answer."
"You're right.  It's the question, and the answer is...it depends on the situation."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, you said that violence wasn't the answer.  And it's not.  It's the question, and the answers could be either yes, no, or it depends on the situation."
"Name me one time when Jesus used violence in a situation."
I smiled.  Wow...the principal of a Christian school, and he didn't even know the answer.  "Well, when he drove the money changers out of the temple.  Because, I'm pretty sure he wasn't all like, 'will you leave?  Please?  Oh...you don't want to?  Okay.  Will you leave?' and that went on forever. Because if that happened, he would just get annoying and they would throw him out.  Instead he probably yelled at them, and I'm pretty sure you don't tip over the money changers tables unviolently.  If I turned over this table, I would do it violently."
He looked surprised that I had found a reasonable answer.  "Oh really?"
"Yes really."
"So, are you trying to say that you see nothing wrong in what you've done?"
"Well..."
"Yes?"
"I suppose I could have punched him harder....  But other than that, I did nothing wrong."
My principal's face changed, and he stared at me hard.  "You finish your meal, then meet me in my office."
"Yes, sir."  I had the feeling I was going to be getting ISS.  But I didn't really care.

Anyway, I have other net-surfing to do.
Love y'all!!!
