I'm sorry to annouce that...
THE BIRD BIRD BIRD, B-BIRDS THE WORD!
Erm, actually no, I was going to announce that the interviews will be posted, tomorrow or...Sunday...may even have to wait till Monday.
BUT! I have some interviews that I was able to get, so here are some exerpts that you will get to see!
I don't remember if I told y'all what the interviews were going to be about... Well, they were going to be about clothes, women's and girls clothes to be specific, and how it effects guys.
Here are some excerpts for you!
This one is from Donny, my big brother, he is 18 years old:
Me: Do you think that women/girls,
should realize that the way they dress effects guys like it does, and
try to dress in a way that will make him want to look at her face,
instead of other parts of her body?
Donny: Well...they need to realize
how it effects guys...they need to know that dressing a certain way is going to get
a certain type of attention. [I]t's all on the attention they want.
Here's one from a young lady who has the same name as me! Katie! She's also fourteen.
Me: Okay. What about tight, or low cut
shirts? By low cut I mean cleavage showing.
Katie: I think it is annoying, and very
nasty for a girl to have her cleavage hanging out.
Here's one from a twelve year old girl, named Shanaynay.
Me: Okay. Next question: if you ever
found out that the way you were dressing was turning guys on, and
causing them to lust after you, would you do everything you could to
change it to where you WEREN'T effecting them in such a way?
Shanaynay: If I was dressing modestly
then there's nothing I can do. But if I was
wearing something like a low cut shirt then I would definitely
correct it.
One last one from an annonymous guy, between the ages of 17, and 21.
Me:I have one more
question. Do you think that it's important for a woman/girl to
realize this, and take responsibility to dress modestly?
Annon Male: Of course. I heard somewhere that women are statistically
more prone to date rapes than not when dressing immodestly. It is
important for women to realize how they dress can affect themselves
and others around them.
Okay, now those were just excerpts. That means that there will be bits and pieces added in there, when I post all of the interviews, but until then, feast your mind on what is posted here.
So far I have interviewed...14 people, and one of my friends is interviewing her guy friend on this one as well. So that would make fifteen in total.
Of these people, 8 of them would be guys. However, I'm also going to post my opinion, and some comments shared on a facebook page back and forth with a girl that I will keep an annon for her own safety.
Actually, if you'd like an excerpt of her comments, here's one for you right now:
I've got this feeling that that friend interviewing a guy friend was me and I didn't do it. :O
